We understand that to get a complete plan in place, we will need to involve in most cases our clients prefer to live in their own home, rather than a nursing home, so we work with our clients and other professionals to facilitate our clients’ preferences.

Our basic estate plans include the “HELP” documents, Healthcare proxy, Estate Will, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney. In some instances a trust, warranty deed and assistance with funding a trust is necessary as well. For business owners, we handle planning and implementing plans for succession of ownership and control of family businesses. Our lawyers review, make recommendations for changes and updates our clients’ existing estate plans when life changes occur, such as marriage or divorce. This includes preparing amendments for trusts, codicils for wills, warranty deeds, real estate closing documents, updating Durable Powers of Attorneys, Living Will, Healthcare Surrogates as well as creating pre and post-nuptial agreements.
